We tend to overlook our own tendency to gaslight ourselves. Signs that might suggest you may have an inner-gaslighter mode:
1. You downplay your strengths and needs to keep others “happy”.
2. Deep down, you worry that you are flawed and feel ashamed.
3. In relationships, you feel like you should be happy with anything you’ve got and you continue to work harder and unfulfilled in order to feel worthwhile.
4. You have a pathological inner critic and you are scared, vulnerable and afraid of abandonment.
